Hello, my name is Sergey Mitikov. Like many volunteers, it was the desire to help those in difficult situations that brought me to the center. The first step was participating in a social volunteering campaign. Although I ended up there by chance, it became clear to me - this is what I have been looking for!
Becoming a volunteer at the center, I participated in various events, one of which was the "Hanukkah Marathon." Within the framework of this project, various actions were held to coincide with the holiday. We tried to create a warm atmosphere for our wards and provided support to those in need.
Another aspect of volunteering for me is helping our smaller brothers. Without our support, they are completely defenseless, and this imposes a great responsibility on us. I believe that one of the manifestations of humanity is love for animals. And volunteering helps to realize it to the fullest!
Volunteering brings me great pleasure. Of course, there are certain difficulties, but together we always find ways to overcome any obstacles. Volunteering helps me gain valuable experience, meet interesting people, and at the same time feel that your help is important and you are truly making the world a better place!

Hello, my name is Pavel Korzh. I became a volunteer because I consider volunteering to be a noble deed, akin to chivalry. For several years, I have been participating in projects at the center that help improve the lives of our wards. It seems fair to me because every member of society should have the opportunity to enjoy its benefits.
At the beginning of my journey, I was involved in distributing humanitarian aid. Later on, I joined projects such as "We Are Together" and "Crisis 2022," within which we provide support to people with serious illnesses and people with disabilities who find themselves in difficult situations, as well as ensuring the socialization of our elderly wards. I see that our efforts help change people's lives for the better, and I feel proud to be part of a large and cohesive team!
Volunteering teaches me to cope with any difficulties, but the only problem is the lack of time. Due to my main job, I cannot participate in center projects as often as I would like. But as soon as I have free time, I go where my like-minded people are waiting for me.
During my time as a volunteer, I have understood the main thing - if you really want to change the world for the better, then nothing is impossible. It's enough to make a plan and make certain efforts. This inspires me to help others and gives me the strength to act!

Hello, my name is Oksana Antonova. I became a volunteer because I experienced firsthand how important it is to receive support in time. Due to the war, my family found ourselves in a difficult situation, and volunteers came to our aid. My husband and I were inspired by this example and decided to help other people who faced similar circumstances.
I participate in various projects of the volunteer center: "Shabbat Guest," "Eco," "Generations' Memory," and others. I admire the coordinated work of our volunteers and am happy to be a member of this wonderful team. Together, we solve the diverse problems of our wards, providing the necessary assistance.
I enjoy helping other people, but unfortunately, there isn't always time to participate in projects. However, I try to find opportunities to fulfill my volunteer duties because I know from experience that the best help is the help given in time!
For me, volunteering is an opportunity to communicate with other people, as well as a source of positive emotions and pleasure from realizing that you are making a difference. Thanks to volunteering, I have come to understand that even small help has great significance, and together we can overcome the most difficult life circumstances!

Hello, my name is Anait Yermenko. I became a volunteer because I enjoy helping other people. I have always helped my family and loved ones, but at a certain point, I wanted to do something more significant for our society. That's when I joined the volunteering activities of the Nikolaev "Noeck" and started participating in various projects.
Thanks to volunteering, I have become more responsible and creative, as we have to solve a variety of tasks. At the same time, I have gained a lot of new knowledge and skills, become more socially active, and met wonderful people. My life has become more interesting and fulfilling.
During my volunteering experience, I have participated in various projects and initiatives: "Family Volunteering," "Interaction," "Young Volunteer," "Lest We Forget," "Wings of Kindness," and many others. We helped children, elderly people, displaced persons, collected food packages, stationery, clothing, and other necessary items for those in need.
Despite the undeniable benefits of volunteering, there are also certain challenges. Often, we encounter negative psychological factors because we closely interact with our wards and take all their problems to heart. It can be difficult, but when you receive words of gratitude, it feels like you're growing wings behind your back! Any volunteer will confirm that there is nothing more motivating than seeing the happy eyes of the people you've helped! I am grateful to fate for opening the path of volunteering to me!

Hello, my name is Ekaterina Stoetskaya, and for over 10 years I have been involved in volunteering. My first step on this path was participating in a choir for veterans. Since then, I have been involved in many initiatives and have become part of a large team that helps make our world a better place.
Over the years of my volunteering experience, I have seen many times how easy it is to solve any problem if we tackle it together. This is the power of the volunteer movement, where the trickle of your personal help turns into a powerful river of real support. I participate in several projects: "Helping Hands" for the wounded, "Day of Good Deeds," "Children's Protection Day," "Volunteer Day," and others.
I enjoy fulfilling my volunteer duties and draw inspiration from each new initiative. I like helping others. I know that many volunteers lack time, but I have no problem with that. I consider myself lucky because I am doing what I love and at the same time bringing real benefit to our community.
Volunteering allows me to feel involved in a larger common cause and realize that my contribution to improving the lives of others is very important. Receiving words of gratitude from our wards makes me feel a great desire to do even more good deeds!

Hello, my name is Mila Vasilevskaya, and I am a volunteer at our center. My journey into volunteering began with a seminar that my friend invited me to. This event made me think about how many people need help. I also realized that I am capable of providing them with real support. I liked everything - both the volunteer projects and the wonderful team that brings them to life!
I became part of this wonderful team and immersed myself in volunteer activities. Today, I participate in several important projects of our center: "Food Security," "Warm at Home," "Rainbow of Health," and "Chesed for People and Chesed to People." Additionally, I am a co-coordinator of the "Birthday Celebration" project. Thanks to participating in these projects, I can provide assistance to various groups of people.
Overall, my volunteering brings me immense pleasure, but there is one aspect that hinders me from devoting more attention to projects. Often, it's difficult to find free time amidst the whirlwind of everyday life problems. This saddens me because I really want to do as much good as possible for our wards!
But the joy of volunteering outweighs all minor disappointments. When I am among my like-minded people, I feel that together we are a tremendous force capable of literally "moving mountains." Our joint efforts every day help to change this world for the better!

Hello, my name is Zhanna Khomenko. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be helpful to those around me. My first step into volunteering was making toys for children. With them, I hoped to bring more joy and positive emotions into the lives of little ones. I believe that any help is important, but I wanted something more, something grand and significant, so I joined the volunteer center.
Since then, I have participated in various volunteer actions and projects. In addition to making toys, I cooked jam for charity fairs and also taught other volunteers how to crochet. I am glad that my skills have proved useful for our common cause. Moreover, I am ready to learn something new so that my abilities to help others expand.
Volunteering brings me immense pleasure. The only problem I encounter is a lack of time. But I try to structure my schedule to find time to help others, and most of the time I succeed.
Today, I can confidently say that volunteering has opened up new horizons for me. It also helps me feel useful to others. I am energized by their gratitude, and I want to do even more!

Hello, my name is Oksana Yemilyantseva. I feel like volunteering is in my blood because I have always strived to help people. Initially, I independently sent aid to families in need, but then I realized I could do more and started participating in various volunteer activities at sports festivals, where I helped with organization and event management.
Becoming a volunteer at the center has allowed me to provide more extensive assistance to those in need alongside other volunteers. I help organize concerts for our beneficiaries and also volunteer at sports events. Each time, I acquire new skills and knowledge, expanding my experience and realizing my potential.
Despite sometimes feeling tired (after all, I'm only human), I can't say that my volunteer work comes with serious difficulties. I believe I can overcome any challenges because I have many like-minded individuals around me whose support I feel! The key is not to back down in the face of difficulties but to find ways to overcome them.
For me, volunteering is an opportunity to help others and to change our society for the better. I am confident that our unity in the desire to support people in difficult circumstances is the key to a happier society where everyone can receive what they need.

Hello, my name is Larisa Melnik. For as long as I can remember, I have always strived to help other people. If initially it was friends and acquaintances, then with the beginning of my volunteering activities, I realized that my care and support were needed by a much larger number of people. And this realization lifted me to a higher level, where I can be useful to our entire society.
Nowadays, I participate in various projects and initiatives organized by the volunteer center. Together with other volunteers, we successfully address the problems of our community members, providing support where it is needed. I enjoy changing people's lives for the better, but I also get the opportunity for self-realization and to unfold my talents. To me, no other activity is as creative as volunteering!
The only problem I face as a volunteer is the simple lack of time. We are all busy people with many different responsibilities, but I have made it a rule to allocate a certain number of hours for volunteering. For some people, this may seem impossible, but I know that the key is to plan your time wisely.
Volunteering brings me great joy and satisfaction. There is nothing more rewarding than realizing that you are helping people. These are not empty words; these are real deeds that you can feel and for which you are sincerely thanked. If you have never experienced anything like this, I encourage you to join us, the volunteers, and your life will become much richer and more interesting!

Hello, my name is Andrii Shchytskyi. I took my first steps in volunteering 5 years ago. In 2019, I became a volunteer at the Huliaypole Children's Boarding School. I enjoyed working with the kids, and I decided to continue developing in this direction. I wanted to make our world a better place and understood that I wanted and could be helpful.
I reached out to the local community and started participating in various events. At first, these were small initiatives, but gradually I became involved in volunteering activities, and larger projects began to trust me. Currently, I participate in several projects: "Hotline," "Mazal Tov," and also in the volunteer theater "Equal Opportunities." Each project is interesting in its own way, and they allow me to realize my potential in various aspects. Thanks to them, I grow and develop as a person.
I consider volunteering very beneficial from many perspectives. Firstly, it contributes to improving the life of our society as a whole. In addition, this activity allows developing the best human qualities, as well as realizing one's abilities. But I have noticed that constant assistance relaxes some people, and they forget that they are quite capable of solving some problems on their own. I believe that our task is also to give people not only "fish but also a fishing rod."
Thanks to volunteering, I feel useful to other people and seek new opportunities to help them, realizing my skills and talents. This helps me grow both professionally and personally.

Hello, my name is Ivan Kostenko, and I am an experienced volunteer. I took my first steps in volunteering several years ago in my hometown. At the youth center, I helped organize events for young people and provided support to children from low-income families. This activity perfectly matched my inner desire to help other people.
Currently, I hold the position of co-coordinator of the "Good Life" project, which is aimed at conducting various socially significant events and implementing volunteer projects. Our assistance is directed towards children with special needs, veterans, youth facing difficult life conditions, and other categories of people in need of our support. We have a cohesive team, which helps us achieve impressive results in the field of volunteering.
Volunteering brings me immense pleasure, and the main problems we face are the lack of resources and time. However, they are quite solvable if we apply a creative approach and learn to plan effectively. For example, we successfully attract resources from external sources to implement our projects.
For me, "being a volunteer" means actively participating in society's life, helping it become better. At the same time, I myself have the opportunity to develop and reach new heights. I am glad to be among volunteers and grateful that I once chose this path!

For me, volunteering is an opportunity to help those in need and make positive changes in the surrounding environment. My journey into volunteering began during the time when the war started in Ukraine. I couldn't stand aside and immediately joined the volunteer movement.
All my efforts are directed towards projects within the Volunteer Community, where I serve as a coordinator. We provide assistance to those in need and contribute to improving the lives of others.
Despite certain challenges, volunteering gives me new knowledge, new connections, and brings great satisfaction from the fact that I can help others and make the world a better place.

For me, volunteering is a calling of the soul, a need to help and be useful to others. My volunteer spirit first emerged when the elderly residents in my city needed assistance. This sense of responsibility for fellow citizens was born during the occupation of Kherson, where I was a participant in the war against the occupiers.
Currently, I participate in projects such as "Volunteer Community" and "Back to Work," which aim to assist pensioners and other people facing challenging life circumstances.
One of the main challenges I encounter in volunteering is the shortage of volunteers. It would also be beneficial to provide more encouragement for those who dedicate their time and efforts to helping others.
Volunteering gives me the desire to live and help those who find themselves in difficult situations. But for me, it's not just a way to provide financial or physical support; it's also an opportunity for self-realization and finding new meanings in life.

Volunteering, for me, is not only about various projects and actions but also a lifestyle and a specific mindset. It is important for me to do good and see the value in every life.
My volunteering journey started with the "Yarn of Goodness" master class in the city of Rivne. While I always tried to do good, the girls leading the master class helped channel my energy into a specific direction. Before that, I also rescued a kitten, which became another step into the world of volunteering.
My volunteer activities allow me to showcase different skills and abilities. I knit octopuses for prematurely born babies and participate in the "Yarn of Goodness" master classes. Additionally, I independently make trench candles as a solo volunteer.
One of the main challenges for me is a lack of time for everything that interests me. However, volunteering gives me the feeling that I can change something in the world, that I am not wasting oxygen in vain. This activity also allows me to self-realize, express my creative abilities, and connect with like-minded people.

My journey to volunteering began for mercenary reasons. I have a son with a disability, and I realized that he needed more social interaction and variety in life. Therefore, I willingly responded to the invitation of our leader to participate in an event for children from orphanages and people with disabilities. So, in 2012, my son and I joined the ranks of volunteers. The first step was assisting in organizing the celebration of Odessa City Day.
Volunteering literally turned our perceptions of life upside down. I understood that I enjoyed helping people, and it brought me immense pleasure. My son experienced the same emotions, and we decided to dedicate all our free time to volunteering.
Now I am actively engaged in volunteering. I have participated in an educational Ukrainian marathon for people with mental disabilities, the "Living Healthy" campaign for visually impaired children, cemetery clean-up, assistance in organizing open days, and the "Women's Club."
The main challenge for me is a lack of time. However, it is more than compensated for by the positive emotions I gain from volunteering. I make new connections, acquire new knowledge, and discover new facets of my personality. All of this helps me in my professional and personal life! I have realized that by giving a part of myself to others, I receive so much more in return!

Volunteering, for me, is not just a way to relax or undergo therapy - it is something greater. It is an opportunity to actively influence the world around us and make it a little better.
My choice to engage in volunteering was driven by the desire to make the world a better place to live. In 2012, I began my volunteering journey by assisting in the celebration of Odessa City Day. That day marked the beginning of something new and significant for me.
Over time, my volunteering experience expanded, and now I participate in 70% of events in Odessa and 10% of events throughout Ukraine. It provides an opportunity not only to do good deeds but also to meet new interesting people and learn something new.
Of course, there are challenges in volunteering; not everyone always understands why one should spend their time helping others. However, this does not deter me because I believe in the true value of volunteering and am confident that my work has meaning.
For me, volunteering is tranquility and the opportunity to be an example for the new generation of volunteers. It brings me pleasure and joy because I know that my efforts are not in vain and contribute to the benefit of our society.

Volunteering, for me, is an exchange of positive emotions and a desire to create goodness in the world, providing assistance to those in need.
My choice to engage in volunteering was driven by the changes brought about by the war. After moving to Lutsk and joining the volunteer center, I realized that it was not just a choice but a lifestyle. The need to help those going through difficult times became an integral part of my daily life.
As a volunteer, I participate in projects aimed at ensuring food security, assist the beneficiaries of Hesed, organize the collection and preservation of memories in the "Memory" project, and contribute to health support in the "Health Rainbow" project.
On my volunteering journey, I have not encountered serious difficulties. I am happy to be a volunteer at our center - each project brings me joy and satisfaction.
Volunteering provides me with new acquaintances and equips me with valuable knowledge that helps me develop as an individual and expands opportunities to assist other people.

For me, volunteering is an opportunity to do good and provide assistance to those in need. I believe in the power of collective action and the possibility of improving the lives of others through our efforts.
My volunteering journey began with an invitation from my leader to join this incredibly important cause. His words about how volunteering can change the world encouraged me to take action and make the world a better place.
As a volunteer, I participate in the "Shabbat Guest" project. This initiative allows me to meet different people, help them, and provide support. Each encounter reminds me of how important it is to help people in difficult times.
Although my volunteering experience has been quite successful, sometimes I face challenges in my personal life that hinder my participation in projects. However, I always strive to find time for volunteer initiatives.

I have always sought to help other people, and it brought me great joy. The desire to change lives for the better led me to the path of volunteering.
I have been involved in various projects and initiatives, including "Thread of Kindness," "Children's Protection Day," "Bring Joy," "School Bag for a Child," "Hanukkah Marathon," and "Shabbat Guest." Despite their differences, they all share a common goal - to help those in need.
Unfortunately, I don't always have enough time to participate in all volunteering events, but I strive to be actively involved in the center's activities. The lack of time is not a reason for me to give up volunteering.
Volunteering has become a part of who I am, and it is a significant part of my life. I derive immense pleasure from this activity because I love being needed, helping others, and receiving support from others.

I find joy in helping others. It's crucial for me to be helpful and bring happiness to others. Among my favorite volunteer "duties" is baking challah. Every time I assist in baking challah for the community, I feel inspired. Most importantly, everyone I work with is always friendly and positive. This inspires me to continue helping and doing good deeds.

Volunteering is a part of me. I started by simply helping people. Over time, it became clear that those around me needed my assistance on a regular basis, and, most importantly, I needed to feel useful myself. By becoming a volunteer, I turned helping others into my "job."
I enthusiastically participate in initiatives and projects by the Volunteer Center (ВЦ), such as "Day of Good Deeds," assisting Hesed, "Collect a Backpack for a Child," and "Children's Protection Day." Although there are times when I lack time, I make an effort to dedicate a few hours to helping others. In those moments, my mood improves, and I feel joy knowing that my assistance is needed and has no boundaries.

For me, volunteering is not only the pursuit of individual success but also a path to giving back to society. I have always believed that successful individuals should dedicate some of their time to public needs. So, when I had the opportunity to do something useful for people, I gladly took it.
My volunteer journey began with organizing sports events, particularly sports competitions and training sessions for running and Nordic walking. It was not only an opportunity to engage in sports but also a way to provide support to the community. I actively participated in projects of Hesed and the Maccabi sports club, helping organize active parks and sports events. In this way, I combined my love for sports with volunteering and assisting others.
Certainly, volunteering comes with certain challenges, but I see them as minor obstacles. The most important thing I gain from volunteering is motivation, energy, and immense satisfaction from being able to help others and make the world a better place.

For me, volunteering is voluntary assistance and support that benefits others without expecting rewards. Hello, I am a volunteer with Volunteer Community (Dnipro). My journey into volunteering began with a desire to help others, and my first volunteer experience was with the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine. That's when I realized how rewarding it is to assist other people and hear words of gratitude from them. This motivated me to continue on my path of volunteerism. Today, despite time constraints, I participate in all the center's initiatives, from targeted assistance to global projects.
In my opinion, volunteering contributes to personal growth, reveals the best human qualities, helps establish personal connections, and immerses one in the life and traditions of the community. It's a wonderful experience of self-discovery and an opportunity to change oneself and one's environment for the better.
