25 Children's Smiles

The "Pack a Backpack for a Child - 2026" campaign has come to an end, once again proving that when people unite around a common goal, good deeds become reality. Thanks to the support of volunteers, partners and caring people, 25 children were prepared for the new school year, receiving not only essential school supplies but also attention and care.

The support reached children from families who especially need help: internally displaced families, children with disabilities, children from low-income and large families, and those who have lost a parent. For each family, this support helped ease the burden of preparing for school and made it possible to welcome the new school year with greater confidence.

Partners and donors played an important role in making the initiative possible. Tetrada LLC provided notebooks and drawing pads, the Pryntsyp store contributed essential supplies, and Hesed clients donated stationery. Parents of children from the homeowners' association where the event took place also joined in, organizing an additional collection of school supplies.

Zhanna, a craftswoman from the "Club of Kindness" project, made a special creative contribution. She knitted ten pen and pencil holders by hand, adding not only a practical item to the school kits but also a touch of warmth through her handmade work. In this way, every partner and participant helped create something special for the children.

But the organizers took care of more than school supplies. The children enjoyed a real celebration filled with fun and pleasant surprises. A Bear mascot, provided by a secret sponsor, entertained the little ones, while the Lukas company donated sweet gifts. Smiles, joyful laughter and the festive atmosphere made the gathering special and gave children bright memories ahead of the school year.

For us, the end of the campaign is more than simply reviewing the results. Behind every kit are people's compassion, willingness to share and desire to support those facing difficult times. And behind every child's smile is a reminder of how important it is to be there and help not only with material things but also with attention and kindness.
