50 New School Beginnings

The Beit Dan Jewish Community Center hosted the final celebration of the "Pack a Backpack for a Child" campaign. Thanks to the joint efforts of organizers, partners and volunteers, 50 primary school children received school supply kits that will be useful throughout the school year.
Pencils, notebooks and other school supplies are not just useful gifts but also an opportunity to start learning in good spirits and with a sense of support. After all, every child needs to know that there are people who care about their dreams, achievements and future.
But the festive day had many more surprises in store for the young participants! Volunteers from Beit Dan and Kharkiv Hillel prepared a lively and entertaining program. Children enjoyed creative workshops, play areas, VR headsets, air hockey, delicious treats and countless reasons to laugh and smile.
Everyone could find something they enjoyed: try something new, express their creativity, compete in games or simply spend time with friends. This turned the campaign's finale into a real celebration filled with exciting experiences, children's smiles and warm emotions.
We sincerely thank everyone who contributed to this good cause: Hesed, Hillel, Beit Dan volunteers and the "Help Is Me" Charitable Foundation. Thanks to everyone's teamwork and compassion, the children received not only essential school supplies but also attention, care and the feeling of a true celebration.
The "Pack a Backpack for a Child" campaign once again reminded us that we can achieve much more together. We help schoolchildren start the school year with greater confidence, support their aspirations and create a space where every child feels valued.
Thank you to everyone who became part of this initiative! May the new school year be filled with exciting discoveries, new friends, inspiration and achievements. Together, we can do more!
