A bag of goodness

Everyone who finds themselves without a home faces not only material hardships but also the deep feeling of being invisible.

In a world where it’s all too easy to walk past, it is especially important to stop, to see, to listen, and to extend a helping hand. Support is not just about a warm meal — it’s about human connection, about a gesture that says, “You matter. We see you.”

As part of the global Good Deeds Day initiative, volunteers prepared vinaigrette — a simple yet nourishing dish, filled with care and sincerity — for people experiencing homelessness. This meal became part of the ongoing weekly project “Bag of Kindness,” which has been supporting those in need for several years now. In every portion, there is not only food, but hope. In every encounter, there is a kind word, compassion, and a sense of presence.

Food security is not just about access to meals — it’s about dignity, about the ability to face tomorrow without fear. When a community comes together to care for its most vulnerable members, it doesn’t just change the present — it changes lives.

Good deeds take root in the heart — in those who give and in those who receive. Thank you to everyone who took part.  Together we are strong. Together we can do more.
