A Celebration Where Dreams Come True
As part of the "Yeladim - Territory of Children's Dreams" campaign, volunteers created an atmosphere of joy and creativity for children
Ahead of June 1, as part of the "Yeladim - Territory of Children's Dreams" campaign, volunteers visited places where children's joy and attention are especially important - a rehabilitation center and the pediatric department of a children's hospital. The goal was simple yet very important - to give children a good mood, warm emotions and a chance to take their minds off everyday difficulties, even for a little while.
At the rehabilitation center, a creative program awaited the children. During the first workshop, they made colorful cards featuring a cheerful little worm making its way toward a juicy apple. The children enjoyed working with colors, adding their own details and creating little festive scenes. During the second workshop, they made paper fans - bright, creative and especially useful for summer. The creative process allowed them not only to make something with their own hands, but also to use their imagination, socialize and spend time in a cheerful atmosphere.
The gathering at the children's hospital was just as warm. In the pediatric department, volunteers also held a paper fan workshop. The young patients folded colored paper, decorated their creations and watched with interest as an ordinary sheet gradually turned into a bright summer fan. For children undergoing treatment, activities like these are especially valuable: they help shift their attention, bring positive emotions and create a sense of ordinary childhood, with room for play, creativity and joy.
But more surprises awaited the children after the creative activities. Thanks to caring partners and friends of the campaign, they received sweet gifts from the Salex confectionery factory. The children at the rehabilitation center also received wonderful knitted toys from the craftswomen of the "Club of Kindness" - each one handmade with great love.
All these gifts, workshops and heartfelt gatherings were more than just entertainment. They became a way of telling the children: you matter, you are remembered, and there are people nearby who want to bring you joy. Sometimes it takes very little - a few sheets of colored paper, an interesting activity, a sweet gift, a kind smile or simply some time spent together.
It is moments like these that create a true "Territory of Children's Dreams" - a space where childhood can remain bright even in difficult circumstances.
