A Day of Children's Discoveries

As part of the "Yeladim: Territory of Childhood" campaign, children discovered the history of Bona Sforza and enjoyed ice cream

Children's Day is a wonderful opportunity not only to give children bright emotions, but also to help them discover something new and interesting. This was exactly what the "Yeladim: Territory of Childhood" gathering offered, combining history, culture, fascinating discoveries and, of course, small childhood joys.

That day, children and teenagers learned about Bona Sforza - a princess, duchess and queen whose legacy left a significant mark on history. But this was not an ordinary lecture. Participants explored her story through videos, cartoons and engaging stories, discovering new facts and details.

The story of the creation of the Bona restaurant and the secrets revealed by archaeological excavations beneath its building sparked particular interest. History came alive before their eyes - with mysteries, unexpected discoveries and figures they wanted to learn more about.

The gathering continued with a cartoon about Bona and videos from culinary expeditions across Podillia. Through stories, traditions and gastronomic culture, participants were able to see their home region from a different perspective - as a place where past and present constantly meet.

There were also conversations about how important it is not only to know history, but also to reflect on personal values. Along with cartoons about life values, the children had a chance to talk about friendship, kindness, choices and what makes each person special.

After the educational part, it was time for the sweetest part of the day! Participants enjoyed delicious signature ice cream and natural juice. After all, what children's celebration would be complete without treats that lift everyone's spirits?

To finish the day, everyone went outside to the recently unveiled "Crowned Fork" monument. They took a group photo to remember the day and then joined the newest local tradition - rubbing the little fork and making a wish. Some made very personal wishes, others wished for future adventures, while some perhaps simply believed in a little miracle.

And so Children's Day turned into a real journey - from history and mysteries to delicious discoveries and fun traditions.

This is exactly what children's gatherings should be like - educational, lively, delicious and filled with moments worth remembering.
