A Great Cause
Volunteers, partners and participants of Beit Grand programs joined forces to support schoolchildren and collected 40 school supply kits
The "Pack a Backpack for a Child" campaign became a wonderful example of how working together can turn good intentions into real help. Volunteers, partners, families and participants of Beit Grand programs joined the initiative. Everyone contributed in their own way: bringing notebooks and stationery, organizing events, sharing their time and resources. All these efforts were united by one important goal - to support children ahead of the new school year.
One of the campaign's highlights was a charity science show organized together with Tuta and Senya. Children enjoyed exciting experiments, unexpected discoveries and plenty of positive emotions. What made the event special was that school supplies served as admission tickets. So, while having fun and learning new things, children and their parents also helped other children prepare for school.
Creative workshops for children and adults also became part of this good cause. Three sessions followed the idea of "create and help": instead of paying a fee, participants brought school supplies. In this way, creativity became an opportunity to support others, while ordinary notebooks, pens and paints became contributions to a shared cause.
LEV volunteers played an important role in the campaign. They collected donations at different locations, sorted the donated items and assembled school supply kits. A stationery store also joined the initiative, providing gift certificates to purchase essential supplies. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of everyone involved, 40 school supply kits were collected.
The campaign ended with another heartwarming event for children. They enjoyed a creative workshop, treats, time together and, of course, the presentation of gifts. It was an opportunity not only to receive essential school supplies but also to spend time together and feel cared for.
After all, "Pack a Backpack for a Child" is about much more than notebooks, pens or paints. It is a chance to tell every child: you are remembered, you have been expected, and you matter. Behind every kit is someone's compassion, willingness to help and desire to make the start of the school year a little easier and happier.
This campaign once again showed how much good can come from a community united by a common goal. We sincerely thank every volunteer, partner, family and participant who joined the initiative. Great things are built from small contributions, and together we give children not only essential supplies but also a sense of support and faith in kindness.
