A helping paw
Every type of help is important! Today we've visited a shelter for homeless animals.
Speaking about the times when volunteers visit shelters for the homeless animals, we usually about all the cleaning of the kennels, feeding, strolling around on a nice walk or playing games and fooling around with the animals to brighten up their day as well as ours.
Physical help like this is one of the simplest types that can be offered by the volunteers. Coincidentally, this is the type of help that is most wanted and the one that people are most willing to accept. This time, our voluntary visit to the shelter ended up quite unexpectedly. We not only covered all mentioned above, but also found a loving home for one of the dogs.
Finding a good people that will care about a pet is a quest ten times harder than any physical task. Another interesting thing to mention is the fact that our coordinator was the one to become a new owner. This way we are spreading good around the world with our own example.
