A Holiday for Children with Hearing Impairments
A real fairy-tale celebration for children who explore this world and bring beauty into it but, unfortunately, cannot hear it.
Together, we are capable of great things, as evidenced by the wonderful holiday for hearing-impaired children from the Rivne Regional Organization of the UTOG organized by the volunteers of our center. The celebration was a great success, and over 20 children could fully immerse themselves in an atmosphere of wonder and joy.
The three-hour celebration became possible thanks to the efforts of RVC volunteers, but the support of the JUSI charitable foundation and the assistance of the hotel and restaurant complex "Aivengo" were crucial for its organization. The children received a huge dose of positive emotions that will last for a whole year.
The little ones were entertained by fairy-tale characters who taught children to make soap and prepare healthy sweets. Then everyone guessed charades and participated in various games. The visit to the sad Santa made a big impression on the children, and they successfully cheered him up. Lively dances and songs added to the fun, and the "icing on the cake" was sign language poems that elicited genuine delight and enthusiastic applause!
The organizers managed to bring together children of different ages, improve their communication skills, and foster interaction with each other. But, above all, they wanted to bring joy to the children, give them the opportunity to unleash their creative talents, and feel mischievous, free, and happy, as only one can feel in childhood. And they succeeded 100%!
At the end of the celebration, the little ones made a wish by the Christmas tree, and we are sure that their wishes will come true! A big thank you to everyone who participated in organizing this wonderful event! You have proven that goodness and the desire to help can work real miracles, making those in need happy.
