A Sweet Gift of Gratitude

Volunteers made jam for those who helped restore and maintain the burial sites of Holocaust victims

As part of Good Jam Day, our volunteers made jam from a variety of fruits, filling every jar with warmth, care and a sincere desire to share kindness.

This time, the sweet treats had special meaning. Along with other wonderful handmade items created by volunteers, the jars of jam became gifts for people who helped maintain and repair the burial sites of Holocaust victims who were executed.

This initiative was an opportunity to express gratitude to those who worked to preserve the memory of innocent people whose lives were taken by the Holocaust. Caring for burial sites is not only an important task but also a sign of respect for history and human dignity.

Every gift carried a special meaning. The homemade jam reflected the warmth of caring hearts, while the handmade items expressed sincere appreciation for the work done. After all, good deeds take many forms: some people help through physical work, others create gifts, and others offer support through kind words.

Good Jam Day once again brought people together around good deeds and showed how important it is to recognize the efforts of others and thank them for their compassion. Through initiatives like this, kindness becomes action, while the memory of the past is preserved through shared efforts and respect.

We thank everyone who helped maintain the burial sites and preserve the memory of Holocaust victims, as well as our volunteers who filled this initiative with warmth and care. Together, we do good that truly matters.
