Art in Every Pattern
On July 7, volunteers held a parchment craft workshop where participants made their own bookmarks
On July 7, International Day of Peace and Love, our volunteer held a creative workshop on making bookmarks using the parchment craft technique, also known as Pergamano. The gathering was a wonderful opportunity to discover an unusual form of handicraft, try something new and spend time in a creative atmosphere.
Participants eagerly learned the new technique, explored its features and created their own bookmarks step by step. Pergamano is the art of decorating parchment paper, allowing artists to create delicate patterns and intricate lace-like designs.
For everyone, the workshop was a chance to discover a new form of creativity, use their imagination and experience the joy of making something by hand. Each bookmark had its own unique character and became a small result of effort and inspiration.
On this day dedicated to peace and love, creativity brought participants together, offered new experiences and reminded everyone how much joy shared activities can bring. After all, sometimes all it takes is a sheet of paper, an interesting idea and a desire to create to discover something special.
