Backpack of Kindness

Volunteers visited the “Mriya” Center — they gave children school supplies and received drawings of gratitude in return

As part of the charity campaign “Pack a School Bag for a Child,” our volunteers once again visited long-time and dear friends — the Rehabilitation Center for Children with Disabilities “Mriya.” These meetings are always special — filled with warmth, joy, and mutual support.

This time, the volunteers prepared everything the children needed for school — notebooks, pens, pencils, paints, brushes, and other stationery — so that the new school year would start brightly and inspiringly. We happily visited the center, delivered the gifts, and spent time with the children, who always welcome us with smiles.

The most touching moment was that the children had also prepared for our visit. They personally created wonderful drawings and crafts together with their teachers and gave them to our Jewish community as a symbol of gratitude and friendship.

It was a true exchange of kindness and love. Every drawing was a ray of warmth, every smile — proof that even a small gesture can warm the heart.

We sincerely thank the children and educators of the “Mriya” Center for their sincerity, openness, and inspiration. Together, we create a world where kindness, care, and mutual support are the most precious gifts.
