Baking Challahs for Rosh Hashanah
Volunteers of the project have baked round challahs for the members of the community for the Rosh Hashanah celebration.
Two days in a row volunteers were baking traditional round challahs for the Rosh Hashanah, that symbolize how cyclical is the flow of the world. Our volunteers have brought the baked goods to the doors of the elderly members of the community.
Volunteers have also brought along apples and jars of honey to gift them alongside challahs, to make the upcoming year a little bit sweeter.
This is a really thoughtful and heartwarming gift for the single people, who spent most of the time alone by themselves…
We believe that our beautiful, sweet, and scrumptious challahs have sparked joy in the hearts of people that received them. Sometimes even a small gift and a line of kind words means the world to others, so don’t forget to share them with close ones at the upcoming Rosh Hashanah.
