Baking challahs for the "Interaction" project

The volunteer center hosted amazing and exciting master classes in baking challahs.

Kriviy Rih Volunteer Community volunteers and members of the Be Jewish teen club organized exciting events to deepen knowledge of the history of challahs and share the intricacies of their baking.

During the master classes, the participants, under the guidance of experienced craftswomen and their assistants, kneaded the dough and wove challahs in various variations, using different weaving techniques. Every detail of the process was explained in detail, which made the master class even more fun and educational.

Master classes have become an excellent tool for socialization and communication between generations. The participants met to immerse themselves in the world of baking, learn new things and share their experience with others. During the event, there was an extraordinary atmosphere of cooperation, interaction and support.

Within a month, 30 challahs were baked, which were handed over by volunteers of the center to 15 elderly people. It was not only an opportunity to show love and care for those in need, but also a way to convey the spirit of the community and unite people through cultural heritage. It also became an opportunity for the participants of the master class to share their knowledge and skills with the younger generations, to help people and make their day a little brighter and better.

The challah-baking workshop was a successful event that combined cultural heritage, community and intergenerational interaction. Participants received not only valuable knowledge and skills, but also the opportunity to spend time with interesting and open-minded people. We hope that such events will continue to bring people together and contribute to the development of the cultural and social life of society.
