Campaign “Bring Joy”
The sweetest charity campaign, “Bring Joy,” has come to an end, and we are happy and proud to share its results
From March 14 to 24, 2024, sweet gifts for the Purim holiday were collected in 16 cities across Ukraine. The campaign involved 17 volunteer centers, and together we gathered 1,531 gifts.
Thanks to the compassion of 268 volunteers and 270 donors, we were able to congratulate and present “Mishloach Manot” to 647 children from Jewish communities in Ukraine and 884 elderly people. “Mishloach Manot” is not just a sweet gift - it is one of the four commandments of the holiday and a symbol of care for the well-being of community members, showing attention and love for others.
A total of 84 festive events were held in the communities, during which participants prepared 6,255 hamantaschen (traditional holiday cookies) with historical significance. All of this was made possible thanks to our incredible volunteers and the financial support of JDC. We sincerely thank everyone who brought joy and celebration to those in need during these festive days!
