Campaign “To Be-Eco”

Our charity campaign “To Be-Eco” for the Tu BiShvat holiday has come to an end, and we are happy to share the results with you

Last year, we launched a new campaign for the Tu BiShvat holiday called “To Be-Eco” among volunteer centers and communities, aimed at raising awareness about the responsible use of natural resources, ecological responsibility, and increasing greenery in local areas.

This year, volunteer centers once again organized the campaign for communities in 16 cities across Ukraine. A total of 172 volunteers from 18 volunteer centers prepared and conducted 51 events as part of the campaign. These events targeted children, families, and elderly community members. Overall, volunteers reached 635 people and organized:

  • Quests, quizzes, and lessons for children and adults on the theme of Tu BiShvat in the context of ecosystem preservation;
  • Planting microgreens in pots together with elderly people and children;
  • Visiting people with limited mobility and planting flowers with them in their homes;
  • Creative workshops for children and teenagers to paint eco-friendly tote bags, which were then gifted to elderly people;
  • Culinary workshops with elderly people, children, and families focused on the seven species of Israel;
  • Creating festive boxes with the seven species of Israel for community members with limited mobility and presenting them with greetings during visits.

And many other meaningful and useful activities that engage as many participants as possible and make our future life and community life more ecological and responsible.
