Candle of memory that never fades.

On Holocaust Remembrance Day, the community gathered near the former gates of the ghetto to honor the innocent lives lost

On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, our community gathered by the memorial plaque at the site of the former ghetto gates to honor the memory of millions of innocent lives lost. This place stands as a silent witness to a tragedy that forever changed the course of history and the destinies of entire generations.

The Holocaust is not only a page of the past. It is a pain that lives in family memories, in broken stories, in lost worlds. We remembered men and women, children and the elderly - all whose lives were cut short solely because of their nationality.

During the brief memorial gathering, words of remembrance and prayers were spoken. In the moment of silence, everyone felt a personal responsibility to preserve the truth about these events.

We remember to live. We remember to pass this truth on to our children. We remember so that humanity never allows such a tragedy to happen again.
