Caring for memory

Volunteers cleaned the Jewish cemetery to preserve history and the names of future generations

Our volunteer team organized a cleanup initiative at the Jewish cemetery — a place that preserves the memory of people, their stories, and significant events. For us, this is not merely a site with graves — it is part of our heritage, the roots of our community, and a reminder of our responsibility to the past.

Volunteers removed litter, collected abandoned items, cleaned the area, and restored graves that had been neglected for many years. Every action, every movement here was not only physical work but also a sign of respect and care for the memory of generations.

Particularly touching were the moments when participants discovered old tombstones, decorated them, or simply read the names and dates carefully. For many, it served as a reminder of the importance of preserving history and passing it on.

We thank everyone who participated! Together, we not only restore order to the area but also maintain a living connection with the past, contributing to the preservation of heritage for future generations.
