Celebrating Lag Ba'Omer Together

Joint celebrations help us feel part of a large and friendly family, bringing joy through community engagement.

Joint celebrations are crucial for maintaining the spirit of a large and friendly family. This time, the beneficiaries of the JDC "Jewish Hesed Bnei Azriel" and volunteers from the VC Volunteer Center at the Kyiv Hesed gathered in Irpin to celebrate the wonderful holiday of Lag Ba'Omer. It was a beautiful day filled with new experiences and exciting activities.

Firstly, experienced volunteer trainers organized a mini-marathon of Nordic walking, with 20 participants joining in. The participants showed true sportsmanship, and at the end of the competition, they were awarded memorable prizes and pleasant surprises.

After showcasing their physical abilities, it was time to delve into deeper discussions. The celebration continued with an interesting conversation about the values of Lag Ba'Omer in the context of modern times. The discussion was lively and inspiring, contributing to a deeper understanding of the holiday and its significance in our lives. A delightful refreshment complemented the engaging conversation.

At the end of this eventful day, participants were invited to a workshop titled "Source of Happiness," where everyone learned how to find resources to make their lives harmonious and happy. The session sparked lively interest and served as a wonderful conclusion to the festive day.

The pleasant weather and the beautiful location at Writers' Park greatly contributed to creating a festive atmosphere. Everyone felt part of a large and friendly family. Smiles, laughter, and pleasant conversations adorned this wonderful day.

We thank everyone who joined us in celebrating Lag Ba'Omer! Such joint events, like many others, help us sustain and develop our close-knit community. We are confident that many more such gatherings await us in the future!
