Celebration of creativity and unity
Our community center marked Tu BiShvat with traditions, a festive program, and eco-initiatives
At our Community Center, Tu BiShvat - the New Year of the Trees - was celebrated. This holiday became a day of warmth, creativity, and unity, bringing together children, youth, and the older generation of our community.
Participants of children’s and youth clubs personally planted seeds for seedlings. This became a symbolic beginning of the future harvest and a reminder of how small actions today shape a great future.
The festive program included creative performances by children together with their parents. They presented a touching mini-performance and musical numbers that created a special atmosphere of warmth and harmony. Older community members enthusiastically supported the performances and shared their emotions.
Traditions were also an important part of the celebration - a Tu BiShvat Seder with fruits and festive treats was organized and prepared by community volunteers. Together, participants read, communicated, and spent time in a friendly atmosphere.
Special attention was given to ecology: containers for collecting plastic caps and a box for used batteries were installed in the center. This is another step toward conscious environmental responsibility and care for the future.
This year, Tu BiShvat became not just a holiday of trees, but a day of unity, creativity, and shared responsibility for the world around us.
