Celebration of life, unity and warmth

Tu BiShvat is a special day in Jewish tradition when nature awakens and we celebrate the New Year of the Trees

On this day, the Jewish community gathered together to fill the world with goodness, reflect on the importance of nature, and experience the joy of unity.

The central event was the creation of a tree of wishes – a symbolic tree where everyone left their message on a green leaf. These words were filled with dreams, good hopes, and sincere prayers for peace, health, harmony, and prosperity.

Volunteers and the women of the community prepared a true festive table: homemade pies, fragrant pastries, and other treats that added warmth and coziness to the day. The children from the club proudly presented onions they had grown themselves, and everyone enjoyed tasty and healthy sandwiches with this fresh greenery.

The atmosphere was filled with light, sincerity, and gratitude – people chatted, exchanged stories, shared traditions, and simply enjoyed the moment.

Additionally, before the holiday, volunteers baked aromatic apple pies and distributed them to the Hesed beneficiaries.

This small yet significant act of care and kindness is another reminder that Tu BiShvat is not just about nature, but also about the people who create good.

Together, we bring warmth and hope!
