Charity event "Knitted hundred"
A safe and happy childhood, love and care - this is what all the children of the World deserve!
Around this idea, the masters of the "A Tangle of Kindness" project of the RVC Volunteer Center organized a charity event called "Knitted Hundred".
They knitted little chachkies for children from the occupied territories. Artists from other cities, such as Cherkassy, Kryvyi Rih, Kremenchug, Sumy, Kyiv, Poltava and Zaporozhye, joined the idea of the action. Together they created "little friends" for children who had endured all the hardships of life under the occupation.
For a month, the craftswomen managed to knit 167 toys. Among them were 36 warrior cats, three volunteers, two doctors, three raccoons for volunteer children, as well as bears, bunnies, frogs, hedgehogs, tigers, hippos, dolls, mice, birds, hearts and even one knitted ice cream.
The "Knitted Hundred" is finally gathered from all cities, packed and sent to Kharkov, from where it will go to Kupyansk. It will be accompanied by sweets, milk powder, cocoa, diapers, blankets and towels. The volumetric weight of our "toy" package was 140 kg.
"I'm just very happy that so many people joined this event. I am grateful to everyone who knitted, collected additional gifts and necessary things, packaged and carried boxes, and also invested their time as well as a piece of the soul. I know that this whole wave of "warmth" will not lose its strength and will reach children from Kupyansk and surrounding villages," Yulia Robchinskaya, coordinator of the "Klubok Dobroka" project, wrote on her page.
