Community Beautification
The global initiative, "Day of Good Deeds," did not leave our volunteer center indifferent.
The worldwide "Day of Good Deeds" inspired the volunteers of our center in Lutsk to beautify our beloved community center. Twenty-five people, including both adults and children, gathered together to make our shared home cleaner, cozier, and more beautiful. The efforts of the volunteers were particularly important in anticipation of the long-awaited bright holiday of Passover.
Despite the large amount of work, those present enthusiastically rolled up their sleeves and got down to business. Volunteers cleaned the premises and prepared the area in front of the center for the summer season. The work proceeded smoothly, thanks to the atmosphere of unity and solidarity prevailing among the participants of the initiative. Everyone contributed to the improvement of our common home.
The volunteers showed what wonderful results joint efforts can bring: they cleared away trash, washed windows, laundered curtains, arranged flower beds for our "green courtyard," brought soil and made creative flower pots, and even built fences for the flowerbed. They also remembered those in need by collecting items for children from the shelter to later deliver them to the recipients.
The "Day of Good Deeds" at the Lutsk center turned into a celebration of mutual assistance and understanding. Despite physical fatigue, everyone felt emotionally uplifted and greatly enjoyed the opportunity to socialize together and, of course, the results achieved. Let's continue to do good deeds because together we are a tremendous force capable of literally "moving mountains"!
