Odessa continues to be an important hub for refugees and IDPs. At the same time, the volunteers of the Odessa Volunteer Community Center at Hillel Odessa are trying to support the Odessans themselves!

In July, 25 volunteers prepared and formed 680 food packages. Of these, 250 were supported by the Dutch Jewish Humanitarian Fund, which were donated to student volunteers and their families, large and low-income families and IDPs.

Another 430 kits were collected with the support of the Remembrance, Responsibility and Future Foundation (EVZ) and JDC. They went to an elderly ward of the "Hesed Shaarey Tsion" Charitable Foundation.

Despite the large amount of work, everyone coped with ease!
