Creative Evening with Volunteers
Volunteers of the "Ball of Creativity" project inspire children to be creative and learn cultural values.
The volunteers organized an engaging and educational event for young participants aged 7 to 12, titled "History through Shadows." The event took place in a friendly and warm atmosphere, filled with educational moments and creativity.
At the beginning of the event, the volunteers told the children about the significance of cultural and religious heritage, introducing them to Jewish parables. After listening to the parables, the children discussed their importance and the lessons that can be learned from each of them.
One parable about a hole in the bottom of a boat particularly piqued the children's interest. They decided to recreate it using shadow theater, which proved to be a real challenge for their creativity and teamwork.
The process of creating the play involved several stages, including developing the script, selecting the main characters, and making the shadows. The children also assigned roles among themselves and prepared for the performance.
The event concluded with the presentation of the created play. Each participant had the opportunity to experience the moments of creativity and joy in their achievements. At the end of the event, each child received a "photo" of the best participant. Inside the box containing this photo was a mirror, allowing each child to see themselves as the best participant and feel proud of their work.
The event not only enriched the children's knowledge but also helped them develop their creativity, sense of community, and self-esteem.
The volunteers of the "Sphere of Creativity" project continue to work with younger generations, providing them with opportunities to unleash their potential and believe in their abilities.
