In the situation that was forced on us, people want to be useful with their time and energy, so they spend it helping others as much as they possibly can. This proves that anybody can become a volunteer, as it is more of a state of mind rather than just will.

Daily, volunteers are receiving around twenty calls with request for help, which concerns food, medical and hygienic supplies.

We would like to focus your attention on the means of delivery those essential products. As car traffic around the city was restricted, in the beginning volunteers were delivering everything on bikes. However, day by day, there were progressively more and more requests, so it quickly became impossible to deliver everything just on bikes.

Thus, a crew of motorbikers from Zaporozhe have offered their help when they saw publications on social media about our voluntary activities of the “Do good, Ukraine” center.

Now, every day, ten volunteers on the “steel horses” are delivering medical supplies as well as food and other essentials, that are so needed right now, to everyone who had called on the hotline.

Due to the tenderness of the motorbikers, the delivery process is faster and more efficient. This gives us an opportunity to process more requests per day.
