Eco-Creativity Together
Volunteers, AJT Junior participants, and their parents created eco-friendly treats for birds and family Trees of Life
Volunteers, together with children from AJT Junior and their parents, held a series of warm and creative gatherings dedicated to caring for nature, strengthening family values, and spending meaningful time together.
One of the activities involved creating real "bird desserts." Instead of traditional bird feeders, participants made special eco-friendly treats for birds by mixing grains and nutritious seeds and shaping them into various forms - footprints, cupcakes, circles, and stars.
For the children, this was not just a creative activity but also an important lesson in caring for the living world. The understanding that "I can help" is born through real actions - through hands covered with seeds, wax, and a sincere desire to do something good.
It was especially meaningful to see parents and children working side by side, enthusiastically creating something valuable for birds during the winter season. Once all the eco-treats were ready, participants decorated trees with them together. As a result, the birds received a real "restaurant," while the children experienced the warm feeling of having made the world a little better.
Another special gathering focused on creative clay modeling. This activity became a deep exploration of self-discovery, personal roots, and family connections.
Clay became more than just a creative material - it became a way for participants to express their feelings and emotions. Each family created its own Tree of Life, decorating it with photographs of their dearest loved ones - parents, grandparents, and other family members.
These moments were incredibly touching. Children lovingly attached photos of their relatives to the trees they had created, filling their work with warmth, gratitude, and appreciation for family values.
Participants shared that these activities became a true opportunity to recharge. In a world filled with constant stress and unsettling news, both children and adults were able to step away from daily worries, focus on creativity, and spend time together in an atmosphere of calm and support.
These gatherings once again remind us that being "eco-conscious" is not only about nature or individual environmental actions. It is about being attentive to the world around us, caring for one another, valuing family, strengthening unity, and choosing to do good together.
