Emotional Support
A meeting was held for the elderly on the topic "Restoring the harmony of the inner light"
At the meeting, the psychologist delicately emphasized the importance of the correct light regimen for our well-being. Light plays a key role in the rhythm of our lives and biological clock, since the eye contains special light-sensitive cells. It determines how light or dark it is around us, and our body reacts by adjusting its rhythm to external conditions. This mechanism is extremely important, and people with severe visual problems can lose their natural balance of their body clock, which can lead to insomnia in the long run.
If there is no daylight, a person's biological clock starts to slip, about half an hour behind the normal 24-hour cycle each day. The jet lag syndrome is the most striking example of how daylight affects our bodies.
The training also included elements of self-regulation of the emotional state and a relaxation session, which are very popular with our listeners.
