Environmental awareness is a lifestyle

Taking care of the environment is not just a fashion trend, but a way of thinking and a lifestyle

As part of the environmental initiative To Be Eco, volunteers from the BEIT DAN Volunteer Platform, together with the Eco Hub Zero Waste, took another important step towards preserving nature.

The day started with an interesting lecture “Why sorting is not a panacea?” by Eco Hub experts. We discussed the most common myths and the reality of separate waste collection, as well as the ways to achieve true Zero Waste. It was not just informative, but also inspiring - each of us gained valuable knowledge that will help us make eco-conscious habits part of our everyday lives.

Together with our young participants, we got creative and created unique eco-bags. Now every trip to the store will be not only more convenient but also more environmentally friendly.

In addition, we collected plastic and sent it for recycling because every, even the smallest, step in reducing waste matters!

The day ended with a warm workshop for JFS families, where all generations were able to unite in a common cause. After all, ecology is the responsibility of everyone, regardless of age!

We sincerely thank everyone who joined us! Together, we are creating a world where caring for nature is not just a habit, but an integral part of life. After all, small steps lead to big changes!
