Event for International Children’s Day 2025

Every child deserves care and protection — every day, every hour, every minute. Yet there are days when we must remind ourselves and society of the importance of this care. That is why the Volunteer Community network united communities in a great act of kindness. Thanks to 19 volunteer centers operating within Jewish organizations and communities, and with the support of 49 partners, volunteers spent nearly two weeks creating a space of joy, support, safety, and unforgettable moments for children.

A total of 215 volunteers devoted their efforts and 95 hours of selfless service to bring smiles and happiness to 1,541 children, particularly vulnerable groups within our communities and in 16 cities across Ukraine. Each of the 55 organized events became the heart of this large family, where every moment was filled with warmth, support, and hope for a brighter future. The Jewish community thus demonstrated that care and humanity know no boundaries.

Volunteers brought to children’s hearts the sense that the world truly cares about them. Thanks to their energy, every minute was filled with meaning — not just time passing, but a gift of enduring compassion that will remain in the memory of every participant. Every event, every smile, and every gesture of support proved that together we can create a world where every child feels wanted and protected.

We are proud of every volunteer and partner who took part in this campaign. Their contribution is not just numbers — it is countless genuine smiles, warmed hearts, and a powerful example of how love and care can transform the world around us.

This campaign became a vivid symbol of the Jewish community’s commitment to all children in need of warmth and support. Through joint efforts, we have shown that the world changes when there is room for kindness, love, and care.
