Example of Care
The "Food Security" project continues to bring joy and inspire acts of kindness.
The "Food Security" project is the brainchild of our SVC volunteers, who have been caring for the center's beneficiaries for several years, providing them with delicious food. As part of the project, volunteers regularly gather to prepare wonderful challah for the elderly, without which the observance of the Shabbat commandment and the preservation of traditions would be impossible.
The process of preparing and baking challah is a true magic that brings together different people willing to share the warmth of their hearts with those in need of assistance. Delicious and aromatic baked goods symbolize love and care, which are crucial for our beneficiaries.
Elderly individuals gratefully accept the gift of challah, gaining the opportunity to welcome Shabbat in accordance with tradition. Thanks to the volunteers, a cozy, friendly, and joyful atmosphere reigns at the Shabbat table. Their efforts help uphold traditions even for community members who are unable to prepare for Shabbat on their own.
We wish the "Food Security" project a long life, and we thank our volunteers for their responsiveness and willingness to give themselves to others, making their lives better. Thank you for your efforts and dedication to traditions!
