Festival of warmth

Volunteers joined the "Return Childhood" festival, which became a true celebration of joy for children

Over the course of two days, Lviv transformed into a space where childhood came alive again — through creativity, play, support, and love. More than 500 children participated in dozens of workshops, creative activities, and art therapy sessions, which helped them express their emotions, feel safe, and simply… be children.

Our volunteers helped organize the event, guided the children, conducted workshops, and supported them with kind words and genuine smiles. For many volunteers, it was more than just an event — it was an emotional experience, a meeting with extraordinary resilience and the true strength of a child’s spirit.

In these eyes, you could see everything: pain, fatigue, but at the same time — hope, curiosity, and the desire to live. And if we were able, even for a moment, to give them a sense of celebration, lightness, and happiness, it means our efforts were not in vain.

"Return Childhood" is not just about a festival. It is about a place where children’s laughter overcomes silence, where every stroke of color on paper is a step toward recovery, and where the community becomes a family for those who have endured too much.

We sincerely thank everyone who took part in this event, who did not stay on the sidelines, and who opened their hearts. Together, we are bringing back childhood, dreams, and faith in a better future.
