Food Security Project 2025 – first half of the year
We are excited to share the results of the nationwide Food Security project for the first half of 2025
In a world, and particularly under the circumstances we have faced for the past three years, where daily meals are not always guaranteed, the “Food Security” project has given us the opportunity to be those who can positively impact the quality of life for community members in need. Through this initiative, we are able to demonstrate humanity in ways that carry the warmth of a hot meal, the aroma of fresh challah, and the quiet gratitude in the eyes of those receiving assistance.
In 2025, the project is being implemented across 11 volunteer centers in 10 Ukrainian cities, providing support in the field of food security for:

During the first six months of implementation, 2,230 people, including 180 children with disabilities, received regular food assistance, improving their quality of life and promoting healthier eating habits.
Thanks to the dedication of project coordinators and volunteers, the development of partnerships, and the support of organizational directors, over six months the project provided:

The project is made possible by the contribution of 281 volunteers, who pack food parcels, prepare meals, bake challah, grow fruits and vegetables, and deliver food - investing a piece of themselves and sharing smiles that act as medicine against loneliness and need. By dedicating their time, energy, and hearts, volunteers help lay the foundation for resilient and self-sufficient communities.
Their involvement and personal contributions expand the scope of support, strengthen connections among people, and foster a culture of responsibility within communities, promoting self-sufficiency, developing potential, and increasing the capacity of communities to provide aid and support.
The project is supported by 74 partners, including foundations, socially responsible businesses, and individuals who clearly understand and share our values.
A total of $30,697 in resources, including in-kind contributions, has been mobilized during the implementation period, helping build a better future for thousands of people while providing confidence and support.
The implementation of this project demonstrates a profound act of social responsibility within communities - caring for one another. For those facing difficult circumstances, the project offers not just assistance, but also a sense of dignity, belonging, and care, giving them the opportunity to believe once again in the power of a community where everyone matters.
Food Security is about connections forged over a hot meal, trust that grows with every food package, and a community that becomes a shield in times of instability.
