Fragrant Purim

Festive mood and the aroma of baking - that's how the volunteer-led masterclass unfolded at the Day Center

The main treat prepared by participants were traditional hamantaschen. The shared effort in making these delicious Purim symbols filled the day with warmth and merriment.

First, we rolled out the dough, cut out circles, chose our favorite fillings - poppy seeds, jam, or chocolate - and then shaped the signature triangles, filling them not just with tasty ingredients but also with a piece of our hearts.

While the fragrant hamantaschen baked, we immersed ourselves in the festive atmosphere, discussing Purim traditions and sharing holiday memories and stories. These moments of connection and unity made the gathering even more special.

And when it was time to take the pastries out of the oven, everyone felt proud of their work. The hamantaschen turned out golden, fragrant, and incredibly delicious! But most importantly, it wasn’t just about the treats, but the shared experience that united everyone on this holiday.

Thank you to all who joined the masterclass! May the joy of Purim stay with us as long as possible!
