Friday at Hesed
As part of the Food Security project, we not only make sure our beneficiaries are well-fed
Friday at Hesed always carries a special atmosphere - the aroma of freshly baked challah, preparations for Shabbat, sincere conversations, and cozy hustle and bustle. It is a time when simple things take on a deeper meaning.

After repairing our oven, we decided not just to test it but to organize a small gastronomic celebration for the volunteers of the day center. This time, instead of the traditional challah, the table featured aromatic, fresh, freshly baked kosher sausages in dough! The perfect combination of flavor, comfort, and joy.
While the smell of homemade baking spread through the corridors and the lightness of Friday anticipation filled the air, our volunteers worked with smiles around the dough. They weren’t just cooking - they were sharing warmth. Because each sausage in dough that day was more than a dish. It was an expression of love, care, and attention. It was support wrapped in a golden crust.

As part of the Food Security project, we not only ensure our beneficiaries are well fed. We put something more into every meal: a feeling of family warmth, togetherness, and joy in the little things. And when the eyes of our volunteers shone with happiness, we knew for sure - we are doing everything right.

May this simple but heartfelt day serve as another reminder that true miracles are found in small things: in a carefully wrapped sausage, in a warm smile, in a scent that carries us back to carefree childhood.
Shabbat Shalom!
