From First Recipes to a Great Cause
AJT girls were the first to join Good Jam Day, making unusual apple and zucchini jams
Good Jam Day has come to an end, leaving behind many warm memories, culinary discoveries and, of course, sweet treats. And it all began with small batches of jam and a desire to contribute to a good cause..
The girls from AJT were the first to respond to the invitation to make jam for the campaign. They started with simple recipes, but soon the cooking process turned into a true creative adventure!
Their first experiment was apple jam with sugar, cinnamon and lemon zest. The ingredients may seem familiar, but their combination gave the treat a comforting aroma and rich flavor.
The second recipe was even more surprising: zucchini, sugar, lemon, lime and orange zest. Ordinary zucchini became an original sweet treat, proving that culinary experiments require only a little imagination and the courage to try something new.
Meanwhile, delicious aromas filled the kitchen, and hot jars appeared on the table one after another. And, of course, there was the most enjoyable part of cooking - tasting! Anything that didn't make it into the jars could be enjoyed right away.
These small steps marked the beginning of the larger Good Jam Day initiative. Over time, new participants joined the campaign, bringing different recipes and unusual combinations of fruits and berries. Every jar became a result of care, creativity and the desire to bring someone joy.
Now the campaign has ended, but its greatest achievement is not just a supply of delicious jam, but also the kindness the volunteers shared with others. We thank the AJT girls and all Good Jam Day participants for their inspiration, bold culinary ideas and willingness to do good together!
Good Jam Day is over, but the desire to do good remains. Ahead are new ideas, new gatherings and many more opportunities to come together for good causes.
