Game of Traditions

The Jewish Game event brought together over 100 participants online and offline around traditions and unity

A game is always a space for joy, interaction, and bonding. And when it also combines Jewish traditions, knowledge, and live communication, a true celebration is born. This is exactly what the “Jewish Game” event became, organized by volunteers for participants of the NGO “Hesed Menachem.”

This time, the format was especially large-scale: over 100 participants joined online via Zoom, alongside in-person guests at the Freilachs Club. Teams included activists, members of the IDP Club, and participants of the “Open Homes” program, creating a genuine space for dialogue between generations and diverse life experiences.

The event program was dynamic and varied: interactive games, quizzes, and creative tasks kept every participant engaged. Through the games, symbols of the autumn holidays — Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, and Simchat Torah — came to life. Participants colored thematic illustrations, completed tasks, and simultaneously discovered the deeper meaning of the traditions of the month of Tishrei.

The “Jewish Game” was not just entertainment but a valuable form of Jewish education — lively, accessible, and engaging. It was a time of genuine laughter, team support, and a sense of community, when traditions cease to be abstract and become close to everyone.

We thank the volunteers and all participants for their activity, openness, and the warm atmosphere. Stay tuned for our news — many more opportunities to play, learn, and unite are ahead.
