Of course, it does and we got proofs! It is almost a year since Lila from voluntary center Volunteer Community Migdal Odessa have been visiting her elderly friend – Elena Borisovna! During these difficult times, Lilia is trying to make her visits even more frequent to support and brighten up the day of this wonderful, but lonely woman.

Lilia is teaching her friend of “golden age” how to use gadgets, so she could communicate with the relatives and friend that are further away. On the other end, Elena Borisovna teaches Lilia how to braid and distracts her with the stories from the childhood.

This is how generational friendship looks, when hearts of younger volunteers carry understanding within as well as social awareness!
