Good Deeds Day at the Mriya Centre

As part of Good Deeds Day, volunteers visited the Mriya Rehabilitation Centre to bring joy to children

As part of the international Good Deeds Day campaign, volunteers from the Mykolaiv Volunteer Centre held a special visit to the Mriya Rehabilitation Centre. The day became a celebration of warmth, kindness, and joyful moments for children undergoing rehabilitation.

The volunteers came not only with gifts, but also with open hearts and a sincere desire to brighten the children's day. They brought sweets, colourful balloons, and thoughtful surprises that filled the room with smiles and genuine happiness.

The greatest gift, however, was their attention, conversation, and time spent together. Volunteers got to know the children, encouraged them, shared positive emotions, and created a festive atmosphere where every child could feel valued and cared for.

Meetings like these once again remind us that kindness is not measured by grand gestures. Often, a sincere smile, a kind word, or simply being there is enough to make someone's day brighter and happier.

For the volunteers, this visit also became a meaningful experience that inspires them to keep helping and supporting those who need it most. After all, a culture of care, understanding, and humanity is built through small acts of kindness.

We thank everyone who helps make kindness possible. May the warmth of these meetings stay with us not only during special campaigns, but also in everyday life, inspiring new acts of kindness.
