Goose Hug — Warmth of Hands and Hearts
Participants of the Happy Elders 80+ project created a cute little goose, “Goose Hug,” a symbol of tenderness and care
Participants of the Happy Elders 80+ project gathered once again for a creative session filled with warmth, smiles, and inspiration — this time, together with our volunteer, they crafted amusing and tender little geese with a meaningful name — “Goose Hug.”
Using simple materials — cotton, holofiber, paper, and glue — each participant handcrafted their own fluffy feathered friend. Every “goose” turned out unique, carrying the warmth, love, and sincerity of its creator.
These gatherings are much more than just crafts — they help maintain activity, train fine motor skills, and, most importantly, provide communication, inspiration, and a sense of community. During the session, participants shared memories, joked, laughed — and together created not only figures but also an atmosphere of joy.
On this day, the room was filled with tenderness, warmth, and genuine goose love. Even in a respectful age, it is possible to give hugs through art, sincerity, and kindness. Art truly embraces hearts — just like our “Goose Hugs.”
