Hand to Hand - Rosh Hashanah Tea Decoupage Workshop
DVC volunteers held a tea decoupage masterclass for the beneficiaries of Hesed Menachem, dedicated to the holiday of Rosh Hashanah.
Rosh Hashanah marks the beginning of the fall holiday season. It was perfect timing to prepare a tea decoupage workshop for this holiday - the art of creating tea compositions that will warm the autumn days and add a sweet taste to life.
The volunteers had distributed all the components for the upcoming masterclass in advance. For the online meeting, they had selected interesting tea recipes and prepared a program about the history of tea, its peculiarities, and little-known facts. The volunteers, along with the elderly participants, went through all the steps of creating the tea blend, providing proportions and the best ingredient combinations.
The masterclass concluded with brewing the freshly created tea and an online tea party, where all participants shared their family traditions, holiday plans, and showed off their beautiful tea sets. It was an amazing opportunity not only to learn the art of tea decoupage but also to share moments from family holidays and traditions with other participants.
