Hanukkah Masterclass
As part of the Tolerance Theater project, volunteers conducted a Hanukkah masterclass on clay modeling.
The development of creative abilities helps unleash talents and add more positive emotions to life. Odessa volunteers delighted their wards with a wonderful clay modeling masterclass, which took place as part of the "Theater of Tolerance" project.
Young people with limited abilities took part in the masterclass. With the help of clay, they could express their thoughts and emotions, creating unique crafts. Clay is a very flexible material, easy to use to create a variety of forms. The complexity of the craft depends on the master's imagination and applied talents.
The choice of clay was not accidental. Working with this material improves fine motor skills and sensory perception. Also, other senses are involved in the process of creating the craft.
Participants in the masterclass created a world with their own hands, a world that words could not describe. Each craft became a reflection of the individuality of its creator, and the time spent together contributed to strengthening social connections among the participants.
