Healing books
The book collection for libraries in the Kherson region became a vivid example of care, unity, and heartfelt support in action
This is not just a book collection — it is a true act of kindness, compassion, and hope. Volunteers from the Odessa Volunteer Community Hillel, together with students, united for an important mission — to deliver books, games, and educational materials to libraries in Vysokopillya and Zarichne, where access to knowledge, new stories, and inspiration is urgently needed.

Each book, puzzle, and board game is more than just an item. It is a gesture of support, a signal: “We are here,” “You are not forgotten,” “We believe in your future.”

It is especially moving that young people — students — actively joined the initiative. Some brought their favorite children’s books, others a game that brings people together, and some shared stories that inspired them during difficult times. Together, this large shipment became much more than just boxes of items — it became a message of love, faith, and warmth.
We thank everyone who took part in this project. Together, we are not only doing good deeds — we are creating a space of hope.
