"Interaction" volunteer project

Our volunteers regularly visit the elderly individually, spending time with them and giving them positive emotions.

She asks me to call her Valyusha. The 85-year-old granny-neighbor for many years for the volunteer has really become a friend, who accepts any help with gratitude and trepidation. "I like to bring her joy by cutting and styling her hair, cleaning the apartment, doing laundry, shopping, cooking, eating with her and just talking. In response, she tells about her childhood, how as a little girl in the Urals, during the Second World War, she helped to put rifle cartridges in boxes, which were made on machines that produced pasta. They joked and called the cartridges macaroni. Her eyes fill with tears when I bring her macaroni from the store, the memories of her childhood take her back to that difficult wartime. I like to joke with her, laugh, walk on her arm, teach her about information technology. Her life continues with the hope of a meeting that I will never be able to refuse as long as she lives," says the project volunteer about her ward.
