International Campaign “Good Deeds Day”
For many years now, the Volunteer Community Ukr network has been participating in the campaign as the official representative of Good Deeds Day in Ukraine
Year after year, volunteer centers expand, globalize, and enhance the campaign and its activities, engaging more and more people in acts of kindness and fostering volunteerism within communities.
This year, the campaign was supported by 27 Volunteer Community network centers from 24 cities across Ukraine, organizing and conducting 487 acts of kindness and assistance covering nearly all areas of volunteer activity.
The main theme of this year’s campaign was support for elderly people - combating social isolation and ageism, addressing the needs of older adults, and involving society in solving the social challenges they face. Together, 1,402 volunteers dedicated 6,028 volunteer hours to good deeds, providing necessary help and support to 2,139 elderly people.

In total, 3,406 people received quality support through these acts of kindness and assistance.
Thanks to the dedicated work of coordinators and the promotion of volunteerism, 110 partners joined the campaign, providing essential and diverse support to organize and conduct events more effectively and on a larger scale.
