Joyful Purim
The community celebrated Purim with traditions, a Purimshpil, festive treats, and visits to people with limited mobility
A very joyful Purim celebration took place in the community. The holiday was filled with joy, traditions, and sincere emotions, bringing everyone together in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Volunteers baked mountains of hominy and took an active part in organizing the event. Thanks to their dedication and energy, every detail of the celebration was carefully prepared, and the atmosphere became truly festive.
According to Jewish tradition, participants fulfilled the mitzvah of reading the Scroll of Esther. This is an important part of Purim that reminds us of faith, courage, and the triumph of good. After that, a cheerful Purimshpil began - a vibrant theatrical performance.
The acting roles were performed by volunteers, who gave the audience a lot of laughter and positivity. A special highlight was a humorous casting for the role of King Ahasuerus, in which the female part of the community gladly took part.
The celebration was accompanied by a joyful mood, sincere wishes, and a festive banquet. Everyone had the opportunity to communicate, share joy, and feel the strength of the community even more.
Volunteers also took care of those who could not attend the celebration. They visited people with limited mobility, treated them to homentashn, and brought a piece of warmth and attention.
Purim once again reminded us: true joy is when we share it with others, and care and unity make a community stronger.
