Kindness in every corner
The "Good Deeds Day" campaign encompasses not only regional centers but also small towns and villages.
The international "Good Deeds Day" campaign resonates in the hearts of volunteers across the country, inspiring them to join the great flow of good deeds. This year, volunteers from the Shostka Volunteer Community Center of the Shostka Jewish Community implemented several helpful initiatives aimed at improving the lives of those in need.
One of the good deeds was helping those who are moving from border towns and facing difficulties in organizing the transportation of necessary items. As it is known, people often find it hard to relocate without outside assistance, and the volunteers handled this task perfectly. In doing so, they showed care and involvement, which are essential for each of us in difficult situations.
The volunteers also didn't overlook the little residents of the residential building located next to the Community. To create a cozy and safe place for children to play, the volunteers beautified the playground. Significant assistance in implementing this initiative was provided by a local deputy who provided the necessary materials for repairing the swings. Now, thanks to joint efforts, the children have a wonderful and safe playground to play, and the elderly have a beautiful place to relax!
"Good Deeds Day" has inspired volunteers to new beneficial initiatives that will help make our world better and kinder! We thank everyone who participated in the campaign and invite you to join our friendly team, performing good deeds every day, year after year!
