Kindness Knows No Age
Hesed beneficiaries joined the "Pack a Backpack for a Child" campaign and collected school supplies for children
The "Pack a Backpack for a Child" campaign began, and support came from a completely unexpected source. Older Hesed beneficiaries attending the Day Center program gladly joined the good cause and offered to contribute to the shared collection of good deeds.
Thanks to their kindness, compassion and desire to help, an entire box of school supplies was collected for children from vulnerable groups. Every contribution was an act of care for those who needed support ahead of the new school year.
This gesture once again reminded everyone that kindness knows no age or life circumstances. The desire to support others, bring joy to children and make their return to school a little easier united people of different generations around a common goal.
We sincerely thanked our wonderful beneficiaries for their open hearts, compassion and willingness to share what they could. Their example proved that even a small contribution can become an important part of a great cause.
May the warmth they shared with the children return to them a hundredfold, and may good deeds continue to bring our community together!
