Kindness That Helped Fill Backpacks

The "Pack a Backpack for a Child" campaign has ended, giving children school supplies, support and confidence

The "Pack a Backpack for a Child" campaign has come to an end! The days of preparation, collecting school supplies and doing good deeds are behind us. Most importantly, children received the essentials for learning and felt that there are people ready to support them.

Thanks to the kindness of Odesa Volunteer Community Migdal volunteers, friends and everyone who joined the initiative, we collected backpacks, notebooks, pens, stationery and many other items schoolchildren need. All of this helped the children prepare for the new school year and start school with everything they needed.

At first glance, a few notebooks or pens may seem like small things. But for families facing difficult life circumstances, even such purchases can make a real difference. And a backpack filled through shared efforts becomes more than just a collection of school supplies - it becomes a symbol of care and compassion.

Behind every gift were kindhearted people who found ways to help. Some brought stationery, others donated essential items, while others supported the campaign's organization or told people about it. Every contribution mattered and helped turn a shared initiative into real support for children.

We sincerely thank everyone who became part of "Pack a Backpack for a Child." Your participation showed that even small acts of kindness, united by a common goal, can make a big difference.

The campaign has ended, but the kindness we created together lives on in children's smiles, filled backpacks and the opportunity to begin the school year with greater confidence.

Thank you for being there, offering support and helping! Together, we do more than collect school supplies - we give children care, hope and the belief that they are not alone.
