"Last Address" Project
The principle of the project is "One name, one life, one sign"
This initiative is dedicated to the eternal memory of the victims of political repression during the Soviet era. Its purpose is to preserve history and perpetuate the names of those who suffered in the name of their beliefs.
This project is based on the principle "One name, one life, one sign". Each person whose fate is connected with these tragic events is given special attention - his name is imprinted on a small but significant memorial plaque, which is installed on the facade of the house where he or she lived.
This exceptional project extends not only to the countries of the former USSR, but also affects the Czech Republic and Germany, uniting different nations in an effort to preserve historical truth and respect for the memory of the past.
It is especially touching that the "Last Address" campaign also reached the city of Sumy, where the first four memorial plaques were installed. This is the first step towards preserving the memory of the victims of repression in your city, and it already has a special meaning for many people.
The Last Address project is a step towards enlightenment and eternal memory of the past. Together we are creating a future where we will never forget those whose names our streets proudly bear.
